Aimpoint has been active since the 1970s and is today globally recognized for its red dot sights. The products are used by both professional users and enthusiasts around the world. We are now looking for a BID Specialist who wants to contribute to a continued strong growth journey.

As a BID Specialist, you will be part of the Sales Support Team, an engaged team of six colleagues. You will play a central role in developing competitive bids and proposals for some of Aimpoint's most prestigious customers, from individual users to international authorities and defense organizations.

You will drive and coordinate the entire bidding process, from the first customer inquiry to a completed and quality-assured bid. You will be responsible for pricing, documentation, and timely delivery while ensuring that technical, commercial, and legal requirements are met. The role involves close collaboration with the sales organization and technical specialists, where you participate early in customer dialogues to understand needs and contribute with the right solution.

The position is full-time during office hours, based at Aimpoint's office in Jägersro, Malmö. The employment begins with a six-month probationary period, and for the right person, there are good opportunities for permanent employment at Aimpoint. The position involves approximately 20 to 30 travel days per year.

THIS IS WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for someone with experience in bid work, inside sales, or a similar role where you have worked with complex business deals. You are accustomed to interpreting technical, commercial, and legal requirements and preferably have experience working with authorities, defense, or police.

You have a relevant post-secondary education and are comfortable in both Swedish and English, spoken and written. You have good system skills and thrive in a role where structure, accuracy, and business understanding are crucial.

As a person, you are analytical, self-driven, and communicative. You enjoy taking responsibility, find it easy to collaborate, and are driven to deliver high quality in every detail.

It is an advantage if you have experience with police or military weapon systems and a personal interest in hunting or sport shooting.
